We are excited about the impact our outreach team has had in the community fighting the fentanyl overdose epidemic. Our objective is to see a marked reduction in fatal and non-fatal overdoses through the pronounced use of Narcan; and the consistent use of fentanyl and xylazine testing strips before the use of any drugs. To this end, we reach out to community resources, such as churches, community centers, barbershops, beauty salons and businesses and offer all presentations that demonstrate the proper use of Narcan, fentanyl and xylazine strips. We also offer training to organizations, churches, or businesses in the community, so they are educated and prepared to act in the case of an overdose on the premises.
